Roadmapping Process
- Ideate → Host brainstorming sessions w/ the broader team & meet with individual members to crowdsource ideas.
- Vote → Get the team to vote on their favorite ideas — making it obvious that voting is just one of many inputs into developing the roadmap
- Share → When presenting the roadmap, start off with the following:
- Team’s voting results
- Any strategic bets
- Project sequencing

Weekly Roadmap Updates
- Every Monday you have a team weekly kickoff; it is here where you should provide an update on the current state of the roadmap
- Monday meeting format
- Share the doc with the team at the start of the meeting
- Review the high level doc together as a team, adding any comments at the bottom
- Review the comments together & engage in any discussion
- Goal → The team should have absolute clarity as to what’s changed, what’s expected of them, and what direction we’re headed in
- An update should look as follows
- Display the roadmap with the status of each project
- Give a high explanation of the following:
- What has changed in the past week
- Top of mind
- General updates
